India and China held their first comprehensive Strategic Economic Dialogue in Beijing on 26 September 2011. During this dialogue, India and China agreed to deepen bilateral investment cooperation, further opening markets and improve the investment environment. Beijing is the capital of China.
The two sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation on energy efficiency and conservation, as well as on environmental protection.
